College of Textiles at NC State is hosting an Open House on Saturday, October 15th from 9am to 2pm. The College of Textiles is a college that has degree programs such as: Fashion and Textile Design, Fashion and Textile Management, Polymer and Color Chemistry, Textile Engineering, and Textile Technology. Any student who earns a degree from the College of Textiles has the opportunity to work in industries beyond your traditional textile companies. October 1st, the new FAFSA Launch date, is right around the corner! In order to be able to complete your FAFSA, you and your parents will need to create a FSA Id. This ID will give you access to Federal Student Aid's online systems and can serve as your legal signature. Please go ahead and ACT NOW to avoid issues later in October, November, etc. To create your FSA ID, please visit https://fsaid.ed.gov/npas/index.htm.
Fall Open House
ECU is hosting their Fall Open House on Saturday, October 15th. This event is open to prospective freshmen, transfers, and adult students (family and friends are welcome, too). Attendees have the opportunity to take a walking tour of campus, visit residence halls, learn about student life, browse the Academic and Student Affairs Fair, and chat with East Carolina faculty members from most academic departments. Special sessions on important topics such as Admission Requirements, Financial Aid, Options for Transfer Students and Choosing a Major will be offered.
