RDS (Residency Determination Service) is receiving feedback that there may be confusion around the CFNC and RDS single sign-on functionality. RDS uses a student’s CFNC profile information. Therefore, if a student has an existing CFNC account, the student can use this same user name and password to login to RDS.
When a student who does not have a CFNC account (or does not use their existing CFNC account) creates a profile on RDS, then they are creating a CFNC account. If a student is receiving an error when trying to login to RDS it is most likely due to multiple CFNC accounts. The student can call the RDS student line at 844-319-3640 for additional help, or the CFNC Call Center at 866-866-CFNC (2362), and select option 5 for assistance with resetting their CFNC account.
