College Board scholarships are for all students regardless of income or academic standing. (A percentage of scholarships are set aside for economically disadvantaged students.) All students earn potential micro scholarships for completing certain tasks. These students are entered into a monthly drawing for scholarship dollars. I have attached a photo of the list of tasks but the website contains all of the details.

The scholarship is awarded on the basis of character, as determined by an evaluation of essays that are submitted. This award is available to high school seniors and all students attending a post-secondary educational institution. You are not required to be taking Engineering courses to be eligible.
To apply, students must submit an essay of between 500 to 1000 words in answer to the following question: When you look back on your life in 30 years, what would it take for you to consider your life successful? What relationships or accomplishments will be important on this journey? Students will need to email their essay to [email protected]. There is no application packet for this award. Be sure to include your full name as well as the name of the school you are attending this year and your plans for next year. Deadline for entry: October 6, 2019. This unique scholarship program guides students to complete six essential steps that move them closer to college with the opportunity to earn scholarships ranging from $500 to $40,000.* Since the start of the program last year, College Board has awarded $1,750,000 to our first 2,075 Opportunity Scholarship winners across the country.
