The NC Cattlemen's Foundation is accepting applications for their scholarship program until January 15th. They will be awarding scholarships of up to $3,000 annually. Scholarships are available for the following: incoming freshman (high school seniors), current community college or Agricultural Institute students, current undergraduate students, and travel awards for graduate students. Students should have interest and/or career plans in agriculture, with additional recognition for interest and/or career plans related to the cattle industry. NCCF will give priority for awards to students whose field of study is related to some area of agriculture, particularly the cattle industry. Scholarships will be awarded to students who are residents of North Carolina, although college enrollment may be in another state.

The Sigma Chapter Scholarship is awarded to aspiring female education majors annually in the amount of $1,000. This scholarship is non-renewable. The E. Merle Scott Scholarship is awarded to aspiring female education majors in the amount of $1,000 as well. This scholarship is renewable up to three additional years, if academic criteria are met. Apply for the United States Senate Youth Program and Scholarship!Application materials are now available for the upcoming United States Senate Youth Program (USSYP).
The USSYP provides an educational opportunity for juniors and seniors interested in pursuing college coursework in history or political science to spend a week in Washington D.C. meeting Senators, cabinet members, Supreme Court justices, and officials from various federal agencies and the White House. Due to the circumstances posed by the current pandemic, the upcoming Washington Week experience will be held online the week of March 15, 2021.
