Scholarship prizes of $5,000 (1), $3,000 (1), and $1,000 (4) will be offered.
To be eligible, students must submit an essay of 1,000 words or less, along with an application, transcript, and a letter of recommendation from a BBB Accredited Business (you can check out a list of Accredited Businesses at bbb.org/raleigh-durham/accredited-business-directory/). Applications can be found at http://www.bbb.org/raleigh-durham/educational-foundation/torch-scholarships/. Completed application packets are due by Wednesday, November 30, 2016.

BBB's customer reviews are all verified prior to publication. Unfortunately, this is not the case with most websites leading to fraudulent or fake reviews. What are your thoughts on customer reviews? Are there practices to which you would like to see all sites adhere? Describe any ethical dilemmas raised by customer review practices and your thoughts on how these should be handled.
