Student Ambassadors serve the college through service hours and events. They have intense leadership training in August as well as throughout the year. They meet twice a month and must serve the college in 3-5 service hours a week. They also raise money for a leadership scholarship that was created a few years ago and complete community service projects.
Ambassadors receive a full in-state equivalent tuition and fees scholarship, leadership training, a suit, and other official gear.
Ambassadors are given a great opportunity to develop themselves and their leadership skills. The program is demanding but rewarding.
High school seniors are encouraged to apply. Applications are attached but can also be found online https://www.pittccfoundation.com/scholarships/student-ambassador-leadership-program/
Applications must be typed and are due February 1, 2019. If you have any questions please contact Katelynn Speas at 252-493-7440.
