Students can receive up to $5,000 (Applied to undergraduate study only for a maximum of four years.)
This is a NEW scholarship opportunity intended to support students affected by Hurricane Matthew.
Eligible students are attending or planning to attend a 2-year or 4-year institution of higher learning in the immediately following year and resided in one of the following NC towns when Hurricane Matthew occurred:
- Fair Bluff
- Kinston
- Lumberton
- Princeville
- Seven Springs
- Windsor
Applicants will be considered based on the severity of the impact of the disaster on their lives, their financial need, and how they have demonstrated resilience in overcoming obstacles related to the disaster.
